Frank C. Heinisch

Frank C. Heinisch received his Juris Doctor from Creighton Law School in 1968 where he was Dean of Delta Theta Phi and on Law Review.   Prior to law school, he graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Omaha after graduating from Benson High School in Omaha.  Frank clerked in his father's law office in Omaha until his death in 1964, then he clerked for Ellick & Spire in Omaha, associated with Keith Miller in Omaha, then worked as an attorney in Estate Tax for the IRS before opening Heinisch Law Office in Geneva, Nebraska, in January of 1972. 

Frank specializes in the areas of estate planning, trusts, elder law, real estate, corporate, probate.  He has also served as Fillmore County Attorney or Deputy for over 18 years.

Frank has served on a variety of committees with the Nebraska Bar Association, including serving as Chairman of both the Law Office Management section and the Real Estate, Trust, and Probate section.  He has written, lectured and served as co-chairman of nearly 30 seminars, and he was chairman of two of the Probate System and two of the Trust System seminars which included drafting and editing practice manuals that are the standards of practice in Nebraska.  He is known for practical nuts and bolts lectures with automated forms, lecturing on probate, inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning topics.  

Frank has three daughters, Heather Hooper, grandchildren Reid and Hannah; Laurel Balk, grandchildren Brittney, Elizabeth, and Clara; and Holly Dingman, grandchildren Sonja, Alice, and Jay.  Frank is married to Susan and they enjoy traveling together together and he relishes the family summer retreat in northern Minnesota on the shores of Ponto Lake.  They enjoy the water activities, and Frank especially enjoys sailing.  

Frank has been a private pilot for over 34 years, owning and flying a 1947 Beechcraft Bonanza 85, one of the first "V" tails.  It is a classic aircraft that he maintains in top condition.  He is also a regular at the Experimental Aircraft Association annual Oshkosh gathering of 700,000+ friends and associates sleeping under the wing in a tent enjoying the 12,000 aircraft.

Frank also owned a 3,400 acre farm near Delta Junction, Alaska, on the Alaska Highway, approximately 130 miles east of Fairbanks for about 10 years.  It was a challenge to clear re-growth, remove 110 miles of burn piles and transform the land into an operating farm.  

Another passion is photography.  Frank especially enjoys macro photography, with flowers as a specialty.  Many photos that Frank has taken are showcased in the office.
